2024: week 12.

monday, march 18.

Some advice I thought was worth writing in Sharpie.

tuesday, march 19.

I remembered that this day was the first day of spring way late in the day. I’ve written so many times about how spring is coming, and now it’s officially here. I can’t wait to see what it brings.

wednesday, march 20.

The past couple weeks have been particularly challenging. (See advice written in Sharpie from Monday.) As I made dinner this night, I asked God to answer one very specific question for me. There was something in particular I wanted to know. I didn’t really think much of it — how He might answer or even when. I just asked and then almost forgot about it.

Then, probably ten minutes later, I was on the phone with my sister who said, “Can I give you my opinion?” And then proceeded to deliver the answer to the exact question I’d just prayed about. Like, you know when you’re in elementary school and you have to answer by restating the question? My sister basically did that, without knowing I had asked God the question. It was wild. God is so neat.

I snapped this photo while stopped at a red light on my drive home from babysitting. All you can really see is the Batman building, but that’s all that really matters, right? I love this city so much.

friday, march 22.

Still walking. Still obsessed with flowering trees.

Everything I did this day, I tried to do with an active awareness that Jesus was with me, hanging out with me. It was a really good day.

sunday, march 24.

Mornings at Crema are some of my favorites.
