2024: week 48.

monday, november 25

I worked on my book this day. I put everything I’ve written so far into this one app (instead of having a folder of Google Docs), and I realized I have written a total of 32k words. For context, that is about half my goal word count, and over 10k more words than the last book I wrote. And it’s probably 10k more words than I thought I had.

tuesday, november 26.

I put up my Christmas tree this day. Isn’t she lovely?

I’m not normally a Christmas-before-Thanksgiving person, but here we are. It just felt right I guess.

wednesday, november 27.

I’m doing that thing where I’m reading the Bible in 30 days, and what I’m noticing and thinking about so far (after two days) is how much it talks about how God hears.

I posted that bit on my Instagram stories but I kept thinking about it all day. I’ll probably write more about it at some point.

thursday, november 28.

thanksgiving.

I didn’t travel this year, and I went to SJ’s with her parents and some other friends. It was fun!

friday, november 29.

This day was like a Sabbath day for me. Usually I do Saturdays, but the day after Thanksgiving felt fitting this week.

saturday, november 30.

Part of what I read this day. The “everything he had spoken came true” got me.

sunday, december 1.

I cleaned off my desk and found this page from when I was writing down calendar ideas. This was my “if I put 1-2 sentences on the back of the calendar, what would it be?” idea. Some variation of that is what ended up being printed.
