monday, october 28.
birthday day. i went to crema (shocker) and did some writing.
birthday donut.
i also started going to a night school class at my church. it started on this night and goes for four weeks. i’m doing the class on philippians this time because studying one of the books of the bible sounded fun.

wednesday, october 30.
i flew to charlotte this day. sj and dana happened to be there because they stayed with my parents when they went to market and did some work for a client in the city. it was my first night there and their last night there, and we all had dinner together, which was so fun.
thursday, october 31.
i decided pretty spontaneously to fly to charlotte, and i knew i’d need a proper costume for halloween. luca wanted me to be a football player with him, so i ordered this set from amazon. it came with pants too, but it only came in youth sizes. most of it worked, but the youth large pants were still too small so i improved with grey sweatpants.

friday, november 1.
t and i got to have a morning out at a coffee shop, and it was so nice to just sit and chat and catch up on all the things.
when we got back, the boys and olive had decorated the house for my birthday celebration.
later, we went to a pumpkin patch where there were no more pumpkins (the day after halloween) but plenty of activities.
this photo is from thursday, where we taste tested my dessert, but i’m using it here as a marker because i didn’t take any photos this night.
we had a birthday dinner to celebrate my birthday, and t made me a death by chocolate dessert with dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
saturday, november 2.
olive and i matched with our black bottoms and striped tops this day.
we went to the gym, built blocks, played barbies, and had a movie night this night.
t, my mom, and i also popped out for the afternoon for a girl date. we went shopping, had lunch, and then spent some time in barnes & noble. we didn’t really buy much until the bookstore, where we left with an impressive stack of books.
sunday, november 3.
we spent this day hanging out, playing, and driving to the airport.
my flight was delayed but i got to have this nice moment in a rocking chair with the sunset.
