2024: week 29.

monday, july 15.

i don’t know if i’ve mentioned it, but i gave myself a deadline for the first draft of the book i’m writing, and monday nights are my write nights.

honestly, i’ve had monday writing blocks on my calendar for a while, but it wasn’t until i set a deadline that i actually started doing it.

i know this about myself, which is why i set one, but gosh i do really well with a deadline.

tuesday, july 16.

i took a nap after work, sort of by accident. i laid down because i was feeling tired and i woke up an hour later. so there’s that.

wednesday, july 17.

i went to the chiropractor after work and then ran errands. typical wednesday.

thursday, july 18.

i had a spontaneous dinner with my roommates and talked through a life update that i’ll maybe write more about at a later date.

friday, july 19.

i remembered the chosen season four is out, so i started watching that. and by started, i mean i watched the first half the season in one sitting. what a solid friday night.

saturday, july 20.

my roommate (and her fiancé) got a blackstone griddle for their wedding and decided to set it up at our house so they don’t have to wait two months to use it. then they made tacos and invited me to join. the tacos were excellent, and so was the company.

sunday, july 21.

had to slow for geese crossing after church. so random.

i had dinner with my roommates (plus our fourth roommate caleb) this night. more tacos because lani missed it the night before, and we just needed everyone to experience blackstone tacos.

we went around the table and shared what god has been doing in each of us, and it was such a sweet time.
